1997 CUSTOM 7' X 14'CONCESSION TRAILER
That we have here is a 19 foot concession trailer (14'
without tongue) used by owner for the past 10 years or so. They didn't do
the fair circuit with it, just an average of 1 fair per year, really not
worth the expense of building it which was approx. $22,000 (labor/materials)
Most work was done by our own staff and took
months to build.
The
outside is covered in 1/4" plywood with white aluminum, it cannot be dented
easily. All doors are trimmed in Aluminum, as well as all corners. The
outside needs some tlc, it
measures 7' 3" wide, 14'
long, 8' 8" from ground up,
has
3 sides open revealing showcases, showcase
glass is Lexan- 1/4" thick, Lexan is in ok shape, it has some scratches here
and there, 2 horizontal showcases have small halogen bulbs for illumination,
the end case shown below has an overhead Flood light.
The 4 tall showcases have one 3" flood light each. There are stainless steel
hooks on the outside that we used for hanging signs. All doors have gas
filled shock thingys. The two side doors also have electric that run out to
the edge so that we could plug in spot lights for the disco ball. The inside
features wired speakers and 3 overhead fluorescent lights. The electrical
system is 110 volts with its own breaker box. There are 4 duplex outlets
located in each corner as well as an outlet under the floor for supplying
power elsewhere, Two Lexan roof vents and a rubber roof .
Trailer can be leveled using the permanently attached leveling jacks, The
steel piano hinges used were the best owner could find at the time of
construction, they really should be replaced with stainless steel, Back
door, this was overbuilt, two dead bolt locks and 3 super heavy duty hinges,
the back door also features all kinds of extra steel tubing, its built for a
break in attempt with a sledge hammer. The trailer started off as an
Airstream trailer shortened 16', we used 12 gauge box steel tubing, all
tubing was mig welded - ALL four sides are welded, these aren't cheesy
welds. Floor is 1/4" aluminum diamond plate. Wheels are steel. Dual Axels
with working electric brakes. 1" foam insulation throughout- roof, walls,
doors, and wheel wells. (everywhere except the floor). This trailer is not
intended to be a food concession trailer. Located in Washington, NJ.
